Guided Tours in the City of London...
 Hello there. My name’s Barry, and I’m a fully qualified City of London tour guide.
All official guides in the City Of London are required to successfully complete an extensive training course and pass both written, and practical examinations to demonstrate they possess the necessary knowledge and presentation skills to conduct tours covering a multitude of interests from history to architecture.
This site is here to give some information about walks available from me personally. I am also happy to plan a walk or talk to cater for any specific requirements you may have. Please feel free to contact me with any enquiries you may have.

First, a word about the City of London...
|

 London, as a whole, covers an area of roughly seven hundred square miles. It is a vast city, the largest in, and capital of, England.
However, it is important to remember that “The City of London” or simply “The City” refers only to the comparatively small part where it all began. This was the site, measuring approximately one square mile, that formed the Roman walled settlement founded almost two thousand years ago. Even today, many still refer to it as “The Square Mile”.
The 6 metre high walls with large gates disappeared centuries ago but the City still retains those boundaries. It was to become one of the most important trading and financial centres of the world. At the moment I’m in the process of putting together some walks with different themes and getting this web site up and running. Although these walks are still only at the planning stage I may still be able to offer you my services so please don’t hesitate to contact me with any enquiries.

I’m afraid I cannot cater for individual bookings on the internet for practical reasons. I have to restrict my services to groups of between 8 and 30 people. There may also be additions to this number from members of the public on the day of the tour. Please contact me for details.
